Objectives and approach
Validate the local market by conducting and supporting a pilot deployment. The deployment takes benefit of the existing project under construction by the Megalis Bretagne consortium in Brittany region, with regards to collaborative work between legal entities in favor of IT services for private companies and SMEs.
Results
Work package 7 is a limited field deployment of the service, with direct experience from end users: the SMEs. It strongly leverages on both the existence of a related project – e-megalisbretagne, planned to be launched in the early 2007 – and the cross border functionalities piloted in the course of the project.
Work package 7 includes an evaluation of the mechanisms that were put in place in order to promote the usage of the e-tendering solution towards SMEs. A continuous monitoring of the effective adoption by SMEs and legal entities enables to address any unexpected result thanks to a very practical project approach and methodology.
Deliverables
Work package 7 will lead to the issuance of the following deliverables:- D7.1 – Synthesis notes on the usage of e-tendering by SMEs in Brittany
- D7.2 – List of channels and indicators to monitor the adoption of e- tendering by SMEs
- D7.3 – Deployment roadmap
- D7.4 – Feed back
- D7.5 – Communication tools
- D7.6 – Adapted service
Dependencies
WP7 depends on the results of WP3 for all aspects regarding the cross border issues.
