Central Bohemia Region

The Central Bohemia Region is twinned with Burgundy. It shares as Burgundy a strong interest for Information society and electronic administration issues.

For the Procure project, the Central Bohemia Region  will coordinate the local entities of this region. They will be deployed the pilot service for market validation.

Martina is currently a Project Manager in the Directorate for European Integration, working in the EU-Funded Project Management Department within the Central Bohemia Regional Authority.

She obtained a Master's degree from Charles University Prague (in Social Sciences and French Language & Literature), as well as a French Master's degree, entitled "Diffusion of French and French-speaking Communities", from the University of Rouen (via e-learning).

During her studies, she also worked as a teacher of foreign languages. After graduating, she was assistant to the managing director of Carrefour (Czech Republic & Slovakia) for a number months. She then started working as a freelance translator, specialising in the translation of legal documents (judgements from the Courts of Justice). Her most recent experience was a translation internship at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation, based in Luxembourg.
