Objectives and approach
Validate the local market by conducting and supporting a pilot deployment. The deployment leverages on local existing e-tendering solution, but currently used mainly by the big municipalities and for tenders covering recurrent needs.
Results
Work package 11 is a limited field deployment focusing on integration of the Procure platform with heterogeneous e-procurement solutions. This pilot deployment has the objective to validate the openness of the solution and its capacity to set-up integrated cross-border systems with various proprietary technologies.
Work package 11 includes also an important work on promoting cross-border among all potential users (civil servants and enterprises) to address the single market aims in this domain. By dint of business needs analysis, a precise targeting of LAs and SMEs and actions of promotion, work package 11 acts toward increasing existent Piedmontese e-tendering solution audience.
As the Italian partner has a long experience as a local concentrator, its contribution on dissemination methods is attended as a valuable input to encourage the creation of this kind of association for dissemination after-Procure (see Business plan).
Deliverables
Work package 11 will lead to the issuance of the following deliverables:
- D11.1 – Adapted Piedmont e-tendering solution
- D11.2 – Cross-border issues in Italy
- D11.3 – Synthesis of the enterprise questionnaire
- D11.4 – Feed-back regarding deployment to SMEs from others Procure pilots and possibly others projects
- D11.5 – Synthesis of the Piedmont e-tendering solution deployment
Dependencies
This WP has direct dependencies with :
- WP3 T3.1 regarding return on experimentation addressing SMEs’ issues
- WP3 T3.3 regarding specifications on new functionalities in order to address crossborder issues
Contribution to project objectives
Through this work packages, 2 objectives are addressed:
- Feasibility to bring more LAs and SMEs to public purchasing platforms
- Feasibility to address and promote cross border issues
