Piedmont Region is a region having a deep experience regarding public procurement dematerialization; it owns an its e-tendering solution managed by CSI-Piemonte since 2003. Procure pilot will be an opportunity to implement cross border possibilities for the solution and to improve deployment strategy towards SMEs and PAs.
Piedmont Region has already implemented solutions covering several parts of the procurement chain from notice publication to awarding of call for tenders.
CSI-Piemonte (Consortium for Information Systems) is a public ICT Consortium working with local public administrations and research entities in order to improve services for citizens and companies.
Since 1977, CSI-Piemonte has promoted innovation in local public administration through the use of the most modern information technology and Internet tools.
Thanks to its contribution, the Piedmont region operates on the Italian and international scene as an integrated administrative system equipped with the necessary technological infrastructure.
With six offices operating in the region and 64 consortium members, CSI is one of the largest Italian ICT operators in the public sector.
This simplifies its communications with organizations, citizens and enterprises and enables it to offer simple, efficient services contributing to re-launch the regional economy.

Vania Rostagno is the Project Manager of eProcurement Office in CSI-Piemonte, she has a long experience in Purchasing area overall related to ICT system implementation.
Vania has been working on purchasing processes and on-line system for purchasing for 8 years first in private sector as supply chain consultant and later on in public sector joining CSI-Piemonte.
She acquired a knowledge and experience on European directives and national laws on public procurement thanks to projects realized to implement web application on eNoticing, eTendering and ePurchasing through electronic catalogues.
Vania faces also the aspect of users support as the eProcurement Office acts as Service manager of “Acquisti on line Piemonte” eProcurement that offers end-user (private and PA) assistance and consultancy on eTendering.
